The Da Vinci Code

Finally, watched "The Da Vinci Code" today.
Acutally, I have heard some negative comments about the film since the premiere last Wed.
But still, I was definitely looking forward to watching it.

Now, I understand why people think it's not good.
Personally, I also like reading the book a lot more.
I felt the book was really breathtaking and I had a few nights which I was actually unwilling to put it down even when I was very sleepy.
For the film, it's a bit like the director tried his best to show every detail written in the book. But, he failed to create a tension which can hold the breath of audience.

Well, it isn't really fair to do comparison between books and films.
It's because there is more room for imagination when reading and that Imagination can always do a lot more than Reality can do.
Also, I already knew what would happen next when watching the film as I had read the book before.

Anyway, I would rate "The Da Vinci Code" as worth watching :>
